User Terms and Conditions
myTrinix App and Website (mytrinix.au) Energy Management System
Owned and operated by Noark Australia Pty Ltd Effective date: 10 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the myTrinix mobile app and website at mytrinix.au (together, the “Platform”).
The Platform is owned and operated by Noark Australia Pty Ltd (“Noark”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing the Platform, connecting a device, or otherwise using myTrinix, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Who these Terms apply to
These Terms apply to:
- homeowners and other end users who monitor or manage a connected energy system;
- installers, technicians and other authorised users who create or manage sites on behalf of a customer; and
- anyone else who accesses the Platform.
If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” includes that organisation.
If you are an installer adding a customer’s system, you confirm you have that customer’s authority to register the site, connect devices and, where relevant, operate or configure the system.
2. The Platform
myTrinix is an energy management platform for compatible Trinix hybrid inverter and energy storage systems. Features may include:
- account and site management;
- real-time and historical monitoring of generation, consumption, export and battery status;
- alerts, event logs and diagnostics;
- remote configuration and authorised control;
- firmware updates; and
- related energy-management tools.
We may add, change or remove features at any time. Some features may only be available to installer or other elevated accounts.
The Platform depends on your inverter, dongle, battery, home network, internet connection and electricity supply. We do not control those things.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for:
- keeping your login details confidential;
- all activity on your account; and
- immediately notifying us at info@mytrinix.au if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may refuse, suspend or cancel an account if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, the account is insecure, or we need to do so for legal, safety or operational reasons.
Installer or elevated access may require verification. We may grant, limit or withdraw that access.
4. Connecting a system
To use monitoring and control features you (or your installer) must register a site and connect compatible hardware, which may include an inverter, Wi-Fi or 4G dongle, battery and related devices.
You confirm that:
- you own the system or are authorised to connect and manage it;
installation, wiring and commissioning comply with Australian standards and any distributor, Clean Energy Council, electrical licensing and manufacturer requirements;
device serial numbers, keys and site details you enter are correct; and
you will maintain a working internet connection for connected devices.
Remote monitoring, alerts, configuration and firmware updates will not work if the device is offline, the dongle is removed, or your network fails.
5. Remote control, settings and firmware
If your account has the relevant permissions, the Platform may allow remote changes to system settings and firmware.
You acknowledge that:
- incorrect settings can affect backup power, export limits, battery behaviour, grid compliance or system performance;
- installer-level changes can have a material effect on a customer’s system;
- firmware updates may change how the system operates and may involve downtime; and
- you should only change settings you understand and are authorised to change.
We may push or make available firmware or security updates. You should apply updates when reasonably required.
We are not responsible for loss arising from settings, schedules or commands you, your installer or another authorised user apply through the Platform, except to the extent we cannot exclude liability under the Australian Consumer Law (see section 12).
6. Energy data and no guarantee of savings
The Platform displays operational and energy data from connected devices. Figures are provided for information and system management. They may differ from your electricity retailer’s meter data, distributor data or billing.
We do not guarantee:
- particular energy savings, feed-in results or payback;
- uninterrupted power, backup operation or battery performance;
- continuous Platform availability; or
- that alerts will be sent, received or acted on in time to prevent loss.
The Platform is not a substitute for a qualified electrician, your energy retailer, your distributor, or emergency procedures during an outage or electrical fault.
7. Your responsibilities
You must:
- use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms;
- keep hardware, software and account access reasonably secure;
- ensure only authorised people can access your account or a shared site;
- comply with all applicable laws, including electrical safety, grid connection, export-limit and privacy laws;
- not interfere with the Platform, connected devices, other users, or our systems; and
- not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overloading-test, or bypass security or access controls, except as allowed by law.
- You must not use the Platform to:
- commit fraud or misrepresent system performance;
- access a site or device without authority;
- send malware or harmful code; or
- infringe our or anyone else’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
8. Shared access and installers
A site may be accessible to more than one user (for example a homeowner and an installer).If you share access, you are responsible for who you authorise. We are not responsible for another authorised user’s actions on the site.
If your relationship with an installer ends, you should update site permissions or contact us at info@mytrinix.au so access can be reviewed.
Installers must:
only access customer sites they are authorised to manage;
explain material remote changes to the customer where reasonably appropriate; and
not use customer data except to provide installation, monitoring or support services.
9. Intellectual property
The Platform, including software, branding, layout, text, graphics and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for the purpose of monitoring and managing authorised systems, in accordance with these Terms.
You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense or create derivative works from the Platform except as permitted by these Terms or by law.
You retain rights in the personal information and site content you provide. You grant us a licence to use that content as needed to operate, secure, support and improve the Platform.
10. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on mytrinix.au and through the app.
Personal information collected through the Platform is stored in Australia on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Australia-region infrastructure.
By using the Platform you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
11. Availability, support and changes
We aim to keep the Platform available, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may suspend or limit the Platform for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.
Support requests can be sent to info@mytrinix.au. We do not guarantee response times unless we have agreed them separately in writing.
We may update the app, website or these Terms. The current Terms will be published on mytrinix.au. If a change is material, we will give notice through the Platform or by email where reasonably practicable. Continued use after the change takes effect is acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Australian Consumer Law
If you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law, you have guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that services will be provided with due care and skill and are reasonably fit for their disclosed purpose.
If we fail to comply with a consumer guarantee, you may have a right to a remedy. For a major failure, you may be entitled to cancel the service and obtain a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. For a minor failure, we may provide a remedy.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to section 12:
we are not liable for loss or damage caused by your internet connection, home network, installer workmanship, incompatible or poorly maintained hardware, retailer or distributor actions, grid events, power outages, or your (or your installer’s) settings and commands;
we are not liable for lost profits, lost energy savings, lost data, business interruption, or indirect or consequential loss; and
our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the Platform in the 12 months before the claim, or AUD $100 if you have paid us nothing.
Where the Australian Consumer Law allows us to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee in relation to services, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having the services supplied again.
14. Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims, loss and reasonable costs arising from:
- your misuse of the Platform;
- your connection or management of a system without authority;
- settings, commands or firmware actions you or your authorised users apply; or
- your breach of these Terms or applicable law,
- except to the extent caused by our negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct, or to the extent this would be unenforceable under the Australian Consumer Law.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform and request account closure by emailing .
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if:
- you materially breach these Terms;
- we reasonably consider there is a security, safety, legal or grid-compliance risk;
- the account is unused for an extended period; or
- we discontinue the Platform.
After termination, your licence ends. We may retain information as required by law or as described in the Privacy Policy. Connected devices will no longer be monitored or controllable through myTrinix once access ends.
16. Third-party services
The Platform may rely on or link to third-party services, including AWS hosting, app stores, payment providers, communications tools and hardware manufacturers.
Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
Apple, Google and other app-store providers are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for myTrinix, except as required by the relevant app-store rules.
17. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims in their local Australian jurisdiction where the law allows.
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a business transfer.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Platform, unless we have a separate written agreement with you.
